While others are just starting out, we are already well into the marathon – because sustainability is not a sprint, but an ongoing process of continuous improvement. We embraced sustainability long before building our eco-friendly hotel even began. By carefully selecting the right materials, we are able to save energy and ensure that more than 90% of materials can be recycled in the event of future renovations.

Environmentally friendly energy is important – but the best energy is the energy we don’t use at all. Saving water, heat and electricity is a shared effort for a more sustainable tourism in Italy.
- 50% of our energy comes from our own solar power, the other 50% from green electricity
- Lighting is only used when necessary

Your room is your nature-inspired retreat. Every material has been carefully chosen to ensure the best possible rest for body and mind.. Guests with allergies also benefit from the absence of chemical substances.

Being organic is a given for us - but but at our sustainable hotel in South Tyrol, we go even further:
- All food and drinks from certified organic production
- Many ingredients from our own biodynamic Demeter farm
- Only seasonal produce
- No chemical pesticides or fertilisers
- Alternating meat from species-appropriate farming with organic feed, and fish from organic aquaculture or sustainable wild catch
- Waste reduction and recycling; avoidance of (single-use) plastic, use of recyclable cling film, no aluminium foil, no straws
