We are officially the most “organic” of the bio hotels
Our bio hotel between Bolzano and Merano is part of the Biohotels association, a network of more than 80 hotels and restaurants across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. All member establishments work exclusively with 100% organic ingredients, while also meeting a range of additional criteria. In fact, theiner’s garten goes well beyond these minimum requirements in its approach.
For us, the criteria for membership in Biohotels are just a starting point, not the full extent of what we do.
What Biohotels stand for:
- Food and drinks from certified organic agriculture, preferably regional and seasonal
- Use of pure natural cosmetics and recyclable consumables
- Biodegradable cleaning products and careful waste separation
- Use of 100% green electricity
- Organic textiles and mattresses, as well as furnishings, décor and finishes made from sustainable materials in line with ecological standards
- Heating and hot water based on renewable resources, water-saving systems
- Electric charging station for guests
- Ecologically maintained green spaces
