Unless otherwise stated, our prices are per person and per night, including ¾ board. All prices exclude the local tourist tax of € 3.10 per guest per night (from 14 years). This is payable on departure and is shown separately on the invoice. By law, cash payments are permitted up to a maximum of € 4,999.00. On the day of arrival, you can check in between 2 pm and 7 pm. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 am.

• On the day of departure, you are welcome to continue using the garden, swimming pool and sauna area (free of charge for direct bookings)
• Additional lunch and cake buffet on the day of departure: € 26 per person

If you are unable to travel, the following cancellation conditions apply:

• Up to 1 week before arrival, cancellation is free of charge.
• For cancellations 7 to 4 days before arrival, we charge 70% of the agreed stay price.
• For cancellations within 3 days before arrival, no-shows, late arrivals or early departures, we charge 100% of the agreed stay price.

Different cancellation conditions and a deposit are required for retreats and New Year’s Eve.

We recommend booking your desired treatments and massages before arrival to secure your preferred time. Bathrobes and towels are provided.

For the room categories Aroma and Terra , an underground parking space is available (subject to availability) at € 7.00 per day. In all other categories, use of the garage is already included. Outdoor parking is always available free of charge.

In keeping with our health-oriented philosophy, we are a non-smoking hotel.
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or on the room balconies; however, a comfortable smoking area is available at the entrance and on the bar terrace. 

Although we are not a traditional family hotel, children are very welcome and have access to all areas of the hotel, with the exception of the nude area in the sauna. We have a small playroom, table tennis, an outdoor playground with sandpit and slide, but no childcare.

Dogs are very welcome. However, out of consideration for guests with allergies to animal hair, pets are only allowed in selected rooms. We are happy to provide information about availability in advance if you plan to travel with your dog.

You will not find TVs as standard in our rooms and suites. However, they are available on request at any time, free of charge.

All our rooms and floors are barrier-free, meaning they are accessible at ground level. Please let us know if you require a fully accessible room. We are also happy to provide various mobility aids for your stay.

For us, organic means that absolutely everything is 100% organic, from food and drinks to cosmetic products and even the materials in our rooms. Our membership of the Biohotels association also bears witness to this. We are proud not only to meet these standards, but to exceed them significantly.

Demeter is the oldest organic association in Germany and stands for biodynamic agriculture, which goes far beyond conventional organic standards. Demeter hotels apply the principles of biodynamics to cuisine, hospitality and all operational processes. Through our own farm, the Bergerhof, we are able to unite biodynamic agriculture and hotel life, as some of our produce is also served in the hotel. In Italy, we are the first hotel recommended by Demeter.

Sustainability is one of the most important core principles at theiner’s garten. When building our hotel, we used sustainable and energy-efficient materials. We use 100% green electricity. In our rooms, we use organic fabrics and cleaning products, and we minimise laundry where possible. Our food is organic, seasonal and regional, and as far as possible sourced from our own cultivation. Wherever possible, we avoid single-use and plastic products; recycling is second nature to us.

theiner’s garten is the ideal retreat for anyone who values a nature-connected, sustainable and holistic holiday. Whether you love wellness, organic and vegan cuisine, yoga or holistic retreats, you’ll feel right at home here. At the same time, active holidaymakers enjoy the surrounding nature all year round for hiking, biking and exploring. We warmly welcome couples, families with children and solo travellers alike.

No, at theiner’s garten guests of all ages are welcome (with the exception of the nude area in the sauna). However, due to our offering and the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, we primarily attract couples and solo travellers. Our bio vitalhotel is perfectly suited to a romantic getaway for two or a restorative break away from the stresses and pace of everyday life.

Although we do not officially define ourselves as a family hotel, we welcome guests of all ages. We have a playroom and an outdoor playground, but no children’s entertainment. A family holiday with us is all about relaxing quality time and experiencing nature together.

We have a meeting room for smaller business events, equipped with modern technology and various catering packages. Our bio hotel is particularly well suited to retreats: throughout the year, we host retreats on topics such as yoga, mindfulness, mental wellbeing and digital detox. Participants benefit from the expertise of our external partners, as well as from our excellent wellness area and organic natural cuisine.

At theiner’s garten, we offer six room categories, including suites. The rooms range from 25 to 50 m² and accommodate 1-4 people. All rooms offer beautiful views over the Adige Valley, are free from electrosmog and are furnished entirely in natural wood with organic textiles. To support your relaxation, Internet in the rooms is available only via cable and TVs are provided on request. All rooms have a balcony. Fully accessible rooms are available on request.

Our wellness area includes a 12 m indoor pool and a 17 m outdoor pool, a large garden with a Kneipp facility, as well as a sauna area with a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath and relaxation areas. In the spa, we also offer massages, treatments and rituals using high-quality natural cosmetics.

Yes, you can also enjoy theiner’s garten for a day. The day spa includes use of the entire wellness and fitness area, a light lunch and the afternoon cake buffet (€ 70 per person). If you wish, you can also add breakfast (total € 95 per person) or our 5-course organic gourmet dinner (total € 110 per person). 

At our bio hotel, we serve our “more than ¾ board”. This means your room rate includes breakfast, a light lunch, the afternoon cake buffet and a 5-course gourmet dinner. Of course, you can also book bed and breakfast only. All food is 100% organic and partly sourced from our own biodynamic cultivation. Vegetarian, vegan and options tailored to intolerances and dietary requirements are always available.

At theiner’s garten, you’re in good company with individual dietary preferences. Vegetarian and vegan options are available every day, while gluten-free, histamine-free, diet or detox dishes can be prepared on request - we are happy to create suitable dishes for you that are always healthy and full of flavour. Our hotel is also a member of the Italian Coeliac Association (AIC).

Yes, we also welcome external guests for breakfast or dinner who would like to discover our delicious organic creations. Simply let us know in advance and we will be happy to reserve a table for you.

We invite you to take part in our guided movement and relaxation sessions: yoga, aqua fitness, stretch & relax, guided meditation, accompanied hikes, cultural excursions, winery visits and tastings, or a tour of our biodynamic farm. Many other activities, such as golf, tennis or horse riding, can be enjoyed nearby. We are happy to assist you with the organisation.

Our bio vitalhotel is located right between Merano and Bolzano, in Gargazzone, South Tyrol. Both cities are ideal for day trips and boast many well-known sights, such as the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, the archaeological museum with Ötzi, or Tyrol Castle. Nature lovers can set off in virtually any direction, whether for leisurely walks and bike rides or more challenging routes. In winter, we love browsing the Christmas markets and exploring the Merano 2000 ski area.

theiner’s garten is open to you for most of the year: from the end of March to January. We only take a short break in the run-up to Christmas and between 6 January and the start of spring. After Christmas and in the first week of the year, we offer a special New Year’s package. Otherwise, we look forward to showing you the unique character of each season in our hotel and garden.

Inspired by the KlimaHaus quality label for sustainable construction, we have been awarded the title of KlimaHotel. theiner’s garten also holds the Demeter certification, confirming that we primarily work with Demeter products and give them preference in our sourcing. We have been recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council and named the most climate-friendly hotel in the entire Alpine region by ClimaHost.
